X Looks to Beat AI Antitrust Claims From Israeli Data Company

The Elon Musk-owned X Corp. asked a San Francisco federal court to toss out claims from Israeli data scraping firm Bright Data Ltd. alleging the social media platform unlawfully monopolized its public data to train AI models.

Federal antitrust laws don’t compel online services like X to open their systems to rivals and data scrapers, the company said in it’s motion to dismiss filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
