X Dropped From Conservative Influencer’s Censorship Lawsuit

Conservative TV and radio host Wayne Allyn Root voluntarily dismissed his legal claims against X Corp. in a lawsuit alleging social media companies and Stanford University conspired to censor his content.

The voluntary dismissal applies only to X, but Root is maintaining his claims against Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC, and TikTok Inc.

The notice of dismissal filed Nov. 7 said both parties will bear their own costs and fees but didn’t provide any additional details about the reason for dismissal.
