Wyoming Hospital Stops Bid to Revive Covid-19 Treatment Suit

Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Wyoming defeated a former Covid-19 patient’s bid to reinstate his suit alleging that the hospital negligently treated him, a Tenth Circuit opinion said Thursday.

A federal district court correctly determined that the hospital had immunity from William Loginov’s suit under a Wyoming statute, the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit affirmed in a nonprecedential opinion.

Loginov came to Sheridan hospital in September 2021, and tested positive for Covid-19. He received sodium repletion treatment and left the hosptial about a week later, the opinion said.
