World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. won dismissal of claims that it interfered with MLW Media LLC’s access to media markets and wrestling talent in an effort to drive it out of business.
MLW’s antitrust claims fail because it hasn’t alleged a relevant antitrust product market, Judge Edward J. Davila of the US District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Monday.
A relevant product market must include “the product at issue as well as all economic substitutes for the product,” Davila said.
