Logan Paul doesn’t have to face cryptocurrency and nonfungible token holders’ claims over his failed CryptoZoo project, at least as currently pleaded, a federal court ruled.
Judge Alan D. Albright adopted a magistrate judge’s recommendation that the professional wrestler, influencer, and entrepreneur exit the case because the token buyers didn’t show the venture enriched him. Albright entered his order Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas over Paul’s objections to aspects of the magistrate’s report, including its determination that CryptoZoo coins and NFTs were securities.
