Woody Allen, Ex-Chef Settle Military Discrimination Lawsuit

Woody Allen—the noted actor, writer, and director—settled a lawsuit Friday from his former private chef who alleged he was fired for complaining about his pay and being an active-duty member of the US Army Reserve.

The parties reached an undisclosed agreement, an order said, prompting Judge Lewis J. Liman to dismiss the lawsuit without prejudice from the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. None of the parties immediately responded to a request for comment Friday.
