WK Kellogg Accused of Falsely Labeling Froot Loops Serving Sizes

WK Kellogg Co. and Walmart Inc. are facing a proposed class action alleging they falsely advertised and labeled Kellogg’s Froot Loops with Marshmallows as having “about 12 servings” per container when they only contain 10.

Thomas Harvey filed the suit in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York Thursday, arguing that independent testing revealed that the nutrition facts panel on the product’s label incorrectly listed the mass equivalent for the 1 1/3-cup serving size as 39 grams, when it was actually 45.26 grams.
