Williams-Sonoma Consumer Bedding Class Likely to Be Certified

Williams-Sonoma Inc. customers who allege the retailer misled them about the high-thread count bedding on its Pottery Barn and West Elm lines tentatively convinced a federal judge Wednesday their lawsuit should be certified as a class action.

Judge William Orrick of the US District Court for the Northern District of California during a 40-minute hearing said he was inclined to grant certification in the lawsuit first filed in 2016 alleging state and federal violations.
