Professional football player Tim Lukas dismissed his claims that Canadian Football League team the BC Lions damaged his career by falsely representing it would sign him to a contract.
Lukas filed for voluntary dismissal of his suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Counsel declined to comment on the case.
The wide receiver alleged that he signed a contract with the Lions in March 2019, and that the team “made numerous representations” that they intended to contract with him for his services.
