White Man Sues Target Claiming Race, Age Bias and Harassment

Target Corp.has been hit with a new federal lawsuit from a white, male ex-employee alleging harassment, disparate treatment, and wrongful termination on the basis of age and race in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Title VII, and Chapter 21 of the Texas Labor Code.

Christopher Aspdal, a white male who was 53 at the time of his termination, says he was subjected to discriminatory comments about his age, excluded from meetings, given unfounded poor performance reviews, and ultimately terminated and replaced with a younger employee after working for Target for nearly 25 years.
