St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, was hit with a civil rights suit Monday by the former head coach of the school’s baseball team, who alleges he was fired because he is White.
Plaintiff Rob Penders alleges the university fired him in response to a social media campaign after he was cleared of allegations of racism, according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
