Wendy’s Teen Worker to Get Sexual Harassment, Negligence Trial

Wendy’s International LLC must face trial on whether it knew a 17-year-old employee at a Florida store was being sexually harassed by an older coworker, a federal judge ruled.

The plaintiff—identified only as M.B.—told an assistant manger that the 24- or 25-year-old male coworker had tried to kiss her, an allegation the assistant manager denies, the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida said. “This is critical conflicting evidence.”
