Wendy’s $3.95 Million Deal Over Colorado Rest Claims Approved

Wendy’s International agreed to pay up to $3.95 million to settle class claims from Colorado employees who may have missed required rest breaks, according to an order granting preliminary approval.

The settlement on behalf of current and former Wendy’s workers in the state since October 2014 “is likely to award significant, concrete relief to the class that would outweigh the uncertain possibility of future relief,” Magistrate Judge Cyrus Y. Chung, of the US District Court for the District of Colorado, said Wednesday.
