Wellstar Nursing Director Sues Claiming Hostile Work Environment

A Wellstar Health System Inc.'s executive director of nursing is suing the healthcare provider for sex discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation, alleging she was subjected to “severe and pervasive” harassment by a board member.

Alicia Sanborn alleges the company “failed to take prompt or effective remedial action” after she complained of being subjected to unwelcome harassment because of her sex, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
