Wells Fargo’s $85 Million Accord With Investors Gets Final Nod

Wells Fargo & Co. received a federal judge’s approval of an $85 million settlement of investors’ class claims of diversity hiring misrepresentations less than a week after the judge finalized a related derivative suit deal.

The class accord is fair and reasonable, Judge Trina L. Thompson for the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Thursday. No class member objected to the settlement, which was reached just months before trial, Thompson said.
