Wells Fargo Must Face Ailing Bank Manager’s Discrimination Suit

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. must defend at trial allegations it discriminated and retaliated against a California branch manager who used extended medical leave multiple times in recent years before he was fired.

Ron Lomboy presented enough evidence for the case to proceed on all but one of his claims, Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Oct. 10. Lomboy said he was fired after a deficient investigation, which started shortly after he took his last stint of medical leave.
