Wells Fargo Bank NA allegedly discriminated against a former employee and fired her for submitting complaints internally about the alleged unlawful conduct, a lawsuit filed in federal court says.

Leigh Bohmfalk claims she was subjected to “discrimination and a hostile work environment because she is a woman” and faced retaliation for reporting the behavior, according to her complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. She asserts claims of discrimination and retaliation under Title VII.
