A real estate developer can proceed with her suit against a Wells Fargo & Co. subsidiary alleging its ex-employee’s advice exposed her to an SEC enforcement action, a federal court ruled.
Lixin Azarmehr adequately pleaded fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation claims against Wells Fargo Clearing Services LLC, Chief Judge Andrew P. Gordon of the US District Court for the District of Nevada said in an order docketed Dec. 5. Azarmehr will have another chance to plead her other claims, except for one that’s time-barred.
