The Washington Post won dismissal of defamation claims by the company that runs former President Donald Trump’s social media platform over an article about its proposed multi-billion dollar blank-check merger.
Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., which owns Truth Social, aims to enter the stock market by merging with a publicly traded company called Digital World Acquisition Corp. The proposed special purpose acquisition company deal is set for a shareholder vote on March 22.
