Warner Bros Entertainment Inc. was hit with a suit alleging the company fails to adequately pay background actors, under a unique California labor law that lets workers enforce the code.
Daniel Matthew Ferguson, who worked on the show “Curveball” for one day in April 2023, said in a complaint filed Wednesday in California Superior Court, Los Angeles County that the company shorts workers on meal periods and rest breaks, and doesn’t pay for off-the-clock work.
