Walmart Settles Deceptive Fish Oil Proposed Class Action Lawsuit

Walmart Inc. will settle a proposed class action alleging the discount store operator mislabeled a “Spring Valley 1000 mg Fish Oil” dietary supplement as fish oil, when it was actually “a lab synthesized solution.”

The parties on Thursday filed a joint motion to dismiss the suit with prejudice in the US District Court for the Southern District of California. Judge Ruth Bermudez Montenegro oversaw the suit.
