Walmart Must Face Claim It Lies About Product Weight at Checkout

Walmart Inc. failed to avoid some claims that it overcharges its customers by inflating the weight of its bagged produce and sold-by-weight products at checkout, a Florida federal court ruled.

The retail giant moved to dismiss Vassilios Kukorinis’ proposed class action, alleging it already settled with him over the same causes of action three years ago in a neighboring jurisdiction.
