“Because even a minute amount of chemical allergen such as fragrance is enough to cause a full-blown allergic response, consumers reasonably expect and believe that when a product is labeled ‘hypoallergenic’ this representation is true,” the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said.
