Walmart Gets Some Wage Claims Axed, For Now, From Worker Suit

Walmart Inc. convinced a federal judge in California to dismiss multiple claims from a state wage and hour lawsuit brought by two retail workers.

Plaintiffs Salvador Guzman and James Marshall didn’t cite any specific instances of Walmart failing to pay them the correct overtime, reporting-time, or meal-break premium wages in their complaint, Magistrate Judge Nathanael M. Cousins said in granting the company’s motion to dismiss.
