Walgreens Agrees to Settle Fired Pharmacist Retaliation Suit (1)

Walgreen Co. and a White former pharmacist settled his suit that involved a rejected claim that Walgreens retaliated against and ultimately fired him after he complained about race discrimination.

Judge Sarah S. Vance of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana dismissed the case without prejudice on Monday. She said she’d been told that Walgreens and Joseph Monette had “firmly agreed upon a compromise.”
