Walgreen Pharmacy Services Hit With Age Discrimination Lawsuit

Walgreen Pharmacy Services Midwest LLC, which does business as Walgreens, was sued Wednesday by a pharmacy technician alleging violations of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act for reducing her work hours and creating a hostile work environment.

Diane Best, who is 72 years old, claims Walgreens discriminated against her based on her age by drastically reducing her work hours as a pharmacy technician beginning in February 2024, while younger employees continued to receive regular hours.
