Wal-Mart Workers Want $2.25 Million Settlement Approved by Court

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. workers want a California federal district court to approve a $2.25 million settlement in a class action lawsuit alleging underpaid wages.

The US District Court for the Central District of California should grant a renewed motion for preliminary approval of the settlement, lead plaintiff Juan Garcia said in an April 25 filing. Garcia will move for an order granting approval at at May 19 hearing, another filing said.
