Two Voyager Digital Holdings Inc. executives’ $6.5 million settlement with account and digital token holders over the cryptocurrency company’s implosion merits final approval, a federal court ruled.
Judge P. Kevin Castel‘s order, docketed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, was followed by his assent to $1.3 million in attorneys’ fees, or 20% of the total, in the class suit. But Castel declined to grant service awards to the named plaintiffs because they hadn’t shown that they incurred costs.
