Vituity Program For Black Physicians Faces Discrimination Suit

A leadership program from Vituity, a physcian-owned healthcare group, that incentivizes Black physicians with sign-on bonuses up to $100,000 is facing a discrimination lawsuit from a medical advocacy group.

The group Do No Harm says that by excluding non-Black applicants, the program violates the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the Affordable Care Act, according to the complaint it filed on Friday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
