Lighting manufacturer Visual Comfort of America LLC is facing a lawsuit by SemiLED Innovations LLC, alleging infringement of four LED lighting patents.
The products infringe patent numbers 8,963,196, and 9,530,942, both titled “slim LED package;" number 8,309,971, titled “light emitting diode having electrode pads;” and number 7,128,454, titled “light emitting diode module for automobile headlights and automobile headlight having the same,” according to the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
