Vineyard Vines Lawsuit Claiming Deceptive Outlet Value Advances

Vineyard Vines LLC must keep defending against a proposed class suit alleging it misleads outlet shoppers into thinking merchandise is of similar quality to retail store items when the outlet clothes are inferior, a New York federal court said.

Although Annemarie Casio, Craig Moskowitz, and David Bronson ultimately may not succeed on their consumer deception claims under New York and New Hampshire law, they have alleged plausible claims making dismissal inappropriate, Judge Joan M. Azrack said Tuesday.
