Video Game Addiction Lawsuits Won’t Be Consolidated, Panel Says

A group of lawsuits targeting top video game makers, including Activision Blizzard Inc., Epic Games Inc., and Roblox Corp., for addicting children won’t be centralized in one court, a federal judicial panel said.

The 15 lawsuits filed in 10 federal district courts around the country in the past year have substantial differences that wouldn’t benefit from consolidation, the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation ruled Wednesday.
