Victoria’s Secret Worker’s Wage Suit Sees Class Size Pared Down

A federal court trimmed a former Victoria’s Secret Stores LLC employee’s proposed class action seeking pay for the time employees waited to have their temperatures checked during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The claims for some of the class members were covered by the settlement in a previous wage and hour case against the retailer, Senior Judge Kimberly J. Mueller said for the US District Court for the Eastern District of California. Lead plaintiff Monique Tirado also can’t represent employees who worked for the store after she left her job, Mueller said in her opinion released Wednesday.
