Vape Company Flumgio Hit With False-Ad Suit Over PFAS Presence

Flumgio Technology Inc. didn’t disclose that its disposable vape products contain elevated concentrations of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances known as “forever chemicals,” a proposed consumer class action alleged.

The company’s disposable “Flum Float” vapes contain more than 160 parts per billion of PFAS, which is 320 times the amount the US Environmental Protection Agency has set as the limit for oral exposure, the complaint filed Oct. 4 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
