Vanguard Equities Hit With Class Action Over Spam Texts

Vanguard Equities LLC sent spam text messages to consumers’ cell phones without their consent in violation of the Telephone Consumer Privacy Act, a new federal class action lawsuit said.

Plaintiff Terry Fabricant said in a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California that Vanguard Equities used its SMS Blasting platform to send promotional text messages to him without his consent.
