USPS Sued by DOL After Contractor Faced Dangerous Conditions (1)

The United States Postal Service has been sued in federal court by the US Labor Department for violations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Janie Walker was an employee of Red Diamond Trucking, which had a contract with the Postal Service to transport mail. On October 15, 2022, Walker reported an incident that day when an all-purpose container got stuck on a broken lift while she was unloading mail.
