USPS Defeats Disability Discrimination Appeal Over FMLA Leave

A former letter carrier for the United States Postal Service failed to convince a federal appeals court that his supervisors interfered with his disability leave, discriminated against him, and failed to accommodate him.

The US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit said in a nonprecedential opinion on Wednesday that the carrier, Howard Ford, failed to show he experienced an adverse employment action while trying to take medical leave protected by the Family and Medical Leave Act.
