USF Holland in Mississippi Hires Only Male Truckers, EEOC Says

A Mississippi location of USF Holland LLC has historically failed to hire women into trucking jobs since the facility opened in 1986, in violation of federal sex discrimination law, the EEOC charges in a new federal lawsuit.

The YRC Worldwide Inc. subsidiary refused to hire Marilyn Hervery for a trucking position out of its Olive Branch terminal in 2015, further to that pattern of bias, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said in a complaint filed Tuesday.
