US Loses Bid to Pause Court Orders Blocking Media Grant Cuts

The Trump administration’s renewed bid to pause lower court orders requiring it to fund global media agencies was rejected by a split US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

The government “has not satisfied the stringent requirements for a stay pending appeal,” D.C. Circuit judges said.
