US Bank Regional VP to Get Job Bias Trial Over Firing at Age 52

A jury must decide whether US Bank N.A. fired a 52-year-old regional manager-vice president because of her age or because it believed she violated bank rules on workplace respect, a Nashville federal judge ruled.

According to US Bank, associate district manager Faith Tupman honestly believed that Jennie O’Bryan gave differing versions of an incident O’Bryan had with a financial adviser during the bank’s annual national sales conference in 2018 and that O’Bryan displayed a lack of leadership during the incident.
