The lawsuit was brought by Jennifer Cathryn Yardley, who was employed by UPS to deliver packages in Knoxville, Tenn., using her personal vehicle.
Yardley seeks to represent other “personal vehicle drivers” in a nationwide FLSA collective.
UPS maintains common policies and practices that deprive these drivers of time-and-a-half pay for hours worked in excess of 40 per week, the complaint alleges.
