UPS Loses on Safety Threat, Other Issues in Deaf Worker’s Suit

A deaf United Parcel Service Inc. employee convinced a federal court that he was qualified to perform the essential duties of a package car driver and wouldn’t have posed a direct safety threat in that job, narrowing the issues for trial on his disability discrimination claims.
