UPS Hit With Investor Class Action Suit Over Growth Projections

UPS and its top executives are facing a proposed class action lawsuit from a shareholder saying the company misled investors about its financial health.

CEO Carol Tome gave bullish statements to investors about the company’s future growth while concealing concerns about its operating margins, the complaint claims.

United Parcel Service stockholder Lesley Savage filed the lawsuit Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Savage proposed a class of investors who acquired UPS securities between Jan. 30, 2024 and July 22, 2024.
