UPS Fails to Escape Former Workers’ Suit Over Referral Bonuses

A pair of former United Parcel Service Inc. employees advanced their proposed class action alleging the shipping company failed to pay them adequate compensation for referring new hires.

The difference between the number of people Todd and Kelli Ruggere referred to UPS and the compensation they received for it is sufficient at this stage to support an inference that they weren’t properly compensated, Judge Julia E.
