Two University of Texas at Austin history professors sued the school and its president for alleged classwide pay and other national origin discrimination.
Alberto Martinez and Emilio Zamora filed the suit Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas on behalf of themselves and all Hispanic full, associate, and assistant professors university-wide from Dec. 19, 2019, forward. Alternatively, Martinez and Zamora seek to represent “a class of solely Hispanic full Professors University-wide” during that period.
