The University of Montana defeated discrimination claims from two former female employees , with a federal court finding they were time-barred.
A group of women sued alleging a violation of Title IX and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing relating to their employment contracts, the US District Court for the District of Montana said. The women said the university had a “‘good ol’ boys club culture,’” favored male athletes and employees, and excluded women from participating in “‘activities and benefits regularly afforded to their male counterparts,’” the court recounted.
