University of Illinois Narrows Ex-Student’s Title IX Bias Suit

A federal judge dismissed a 14th Amendment due process claim from an former University of Illinois medical student who claims he was unfairly expelled over an alleged sexual assault.

The ex-student, identified in court documents as John Doe, alleged that the process to determine whether he sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend, identified as Jane Roe, was biased against him.
