University of California Gains Partial Win in Race Bias Suit (1)

The University of California won’t face many of the allegations made by an academic nonprofit group alleging it discriminates against White and Asian applicants by admitting non-Asian racial minorities with lesser academic credentials. But the university system, which counted a total enrollment of nearly 300,000 as of January, failed to dislodge the claim UC schools engage in racial discrimination in admissions processes.
