United to Face Workers’ Genetic Information Inquiry Class Suit

United Airlines Inc. lost its bid to dismiss a proposed class lawsuit by three job seekers who say they were required to disclose private family medical history when applying for work, in violation of Illinois law.

The ruling was one of the first to interpret the Illinois Genetic Information Privacy Act, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Tuesday.
