Conopco Inc, also known as Unilever, must continue to fight proposed class action allegations that some of its bath products describe themselves as naturally derived by mischaracterizing industrial chemicals to fit that purported label.
It’s plausible for a reasonable consumer to assume that when brands like Love Beauty & Planet and Dove Men + Care say claim on their packaging that a certain percentage of a specific product is naturally derived, that definition doesn’t count synthetic products, US Magistrate Judge Joseph C.
